Longarm Pricing
Square Inch Price
I charge 2 cents per square inch for all designs.

Multiply the length x width of your quilt top.
Multiply by .02
For example: A quilt top is 60 inches x 80 inches.
60 x 80 = 4800 x .02 = $96.
My minimum quilting charge is $35. This means that a small quilt or table runner's square inch price will be rounded up to the $35 minimum if the square inch price is lower than $35. This is to account for the time it takes to load and unload the quilt on the machine.
Batting
I use and stock my favorite Quilters Dream batting on 93" rolls in the 80/20 cotton/poly blend, and 100% cotton.
Batting is a separate charge and is NOT included in the square inch price.
I charge for batting by the linear inch from 93" queen rolls of batting except in the case of special orders. I will use only what is needed for your quilt (smallest side under 90" + a 5" margin) and charge per inch. For example, if you have a 60" x 80" quilt, I would cut 65" of the batting of your choice.

Thread
I stock Omni thread. I don't charge any extra fees for thread use, it's included in your square inch price.
Personally, I like to match or blend thread color with the lighter areas of your quilt. But this is YOUR quilt! Let me know if you have a preference on thread color.
Trimming
If you'd like me to square up your quilt, trimming by hand, there is an additional $10 fee for trimming quilts.

Binding
I'm excited to offer binding services! There are several options for binding. You can send me your premade 2 1/2" binding and I can attach it to one or both sides, by machine or hand finished. Or you can send me the binding fabric, and I can do it all! Let's chat about what binding services you're interested in!

Binding charges:
$10 flat fee to make binding
$0.10 per linear inch to stitch binding to the front of the quilt
$0.15 per linear inch to stitch binding on and finish by machine
$0.35 per linear inch to stitch binding on by machine and finish by hand

To calculate, add the sum of all four sides and multiply by the price of the service you'd like.
For example, a 50 x 60 quilt: 50 + 50 + 60 + 60= 220 * 0.15 = $33

Shipping
Shipping your top and backing to me: I live in New Mexico, USA, and would be happy to receive your top and backing by mail. I'd recommend sending your materials enclosed in some kind of bag to protect against possible moisture in transit and then placed in a hard-sided cardboard box. Make sure the box is securely taped and labeled clearly.
Return shipping: I will send your quilt back to you in the manner described above via UPS or USPS Priority mail. It is NOT included in the square inch price. UPS comes with $100 and USPS Priority mail comes with $50 of insurance, but please indicate on your intake form if you would like me to buy any additional insurance on your behalf.
Other Costs
As mentioned above, batting is not included in the square inch price.
I'm required by the State of New Mexico to collect a 5.125% sales tax on the batting portion only of an invoice if the quilt is being shipped out of New Mexico.
If you're local to New Mexico, I'm required to collect gross receipts tax on any quilting, extra services, and batting. The rate depends on the final destination of the quilt.
Payment
After the work is complete, I will invoice you via email from Wave. The invoice will have a link to a paypal.me site or Venmo. You can pay by credit card or bank transfer, and if you're local, by cash or check. I really do appreciate timely payments as that enables me to mail your project(s) back to you right away.
